Our take
For the price, the Samsung CH890 is a tempting ultrawide option. The 34-inch curved IPS panel gives good colors and viewing angles, and the 100Hz refresh rate is smooth for everyday use. However, being a Grade B- unit, there are cosmetic blemishes that might bother some. The 4ms response time is decent, but the 125:1 contrast ratio is low for an IPS display - blacks look gray. Connectivity is good with USB-C. Overall, if you can live with minor cosmetic flaws, it's a cost-effective ultrawide for casual gaming and design work.
